Blackouts investigate in the relationship between memory and amnesia, the concrete and the abstract, through a process of folding. In a subtle way it directs our attentions towards what we can’t see; our blind spots.

The Fold, like the ones of Deleuze’s is not an uninterrupted straight line but a “becoming”;infinite variations of curved lines in different directions, scales or patterns for each piece in the collection. The function of fold generates an interaction between inside and outside, depth and surface, to seem and to be.
