Yulia Di Studio was launched in 2017 in a heartful studio in Midtown NYC.

The brand is dedicated to high-quality materials, timeless yet unique silhouettes emphasized with attention to details. In the designs, she will exert confidence in everyday life while feeling comfortable and chic.

Creative director, Yulia Di approaches each piece with her unique visualization of deconstruction, tailoring and draping, with “conceptual” and “experimental” being the key concepts of each collection.

Yulia Di was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia, as the third generation Russian-Korean. Fashion has always been a natural part of her life, ever since her architect father and fashion forward mother opened a clothing business. Yulia attended Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Womenswear from London College of Fashion.

Spring Summer 2019 | "Distortion of Order"

“There is a certain order, design norm in colours, silhouettes, fabrics, etc. I try to change this in my designs, always challenging to develop and introduce something new. This S/S 19 collection, Yulia Di Studio, made our own prints on the basis of the work of a young Tokyo based artist, Airi Ishizuki. But this is not a revolution when everyone breaks and builds anew. We just introduce new elements based on the brand aesthetic, experiment on the existing order, introduce additional newness, MULTIPLY.”

The collection is as well a collaboration between two friends, upcoming artist & designer, we wanted to tell a story together. A story of love for art, dedication and passion...
