VIOLALEE

The Black Reef collection by Viola Lee has been inspired by two important event in the deasigners life that had occured in the past year. A trip to Miami, where she stayed for an extended period of time, marveling over the Ocean and her extended hospitalisation witch was an effect of a surgeon's malpractice.
Bedbound for many months she managed to incorporate the gloomy hospital visions into her memories of underwater life, especially seaflora.
This resulted in unique combiation of materials; Swarovski crystal thread combined with hospital equipment like wire form the drop or needles and blood vials.
Each piece hand-made; knitted and hand sewn in Poland.
