"The image I keep of my grandmother is that of a woman always well dressed, feminine and perfectly able to hold a house. She usually wore a blouse of unbleached silk crepe that she combined with a pleated skirt in navy blue wool flannel. She gave me this sensitivity of materials and colors.
In her room-studio, she imagined, designed and made clothes for her children, her husband, herself and for the dolls of her daughters.
I carefully preserve some of her creations and several hat boxes filled with lace bought in the 50's. "

Solène Martin dedicates her finest teens to sewing, drawing and personalizing outfits before truly engaging her creative life in the styling way. She successfully follows the training courses of the "Mod'Art International" school in Paris before seizing in New York the opportunity of a unique experience with the renowned creator Juliette Longuet.
