Sartors; quietly subversive, reflecting a relaxed ageless elegance for an ageless woman, manipulating luxury fabrics and exclusive prints whilst applying qualities of vintage detailing and contemporary street style to express self through the understated designs of Sartors.

I have a fascination and ongoing enquiry with the human body that was established from my study and practice of fine art at Central St Martins. I persist to ask questions of identity politics and politics of difference using references of cultural history, nature and mythological narratives as signifers.
Learning to pattern cut at the London College of Fashion gave me the platform to design and make bespoke wedding, bridesmaid and formal dresses gaining customers through word of mouth only.
As the Founder of Sartors London I have been able to launch my first women's wear collection 'The Vine' for 2015.

The Vine

Description:
A capsule collection of easy-wear every-day pieces tailored from plain and printed luxury fabrics conveying an air of understated elegance.

Inspiration:
The movement of time heralds the birth of spring vines, twisting and spiralling with fresh green tendrils seeking out its host, clothing and all encompassing where two become conjoined.
Hidden from sight in the dark depths of a rich fecund soil are the nurturing sensitive and vulnerable roots that give nourishment to the growing plant continually reaching for the light.
The flourishing plant taking its strength from the support of the earth with runners always reaching for higher heights, swathing and coiling toward the life giving light.
And as Summer submits to Autumn the season's leaves wither to rest the plant, sending vitality back down to the roots; the tender green tendrils have turned to wood, wrapped securely around its host to await next Springs shoots of new life and renewed energy.
