Rosa Hirn

Rosa grew up in Mannheim, Germany. After having graduated from high school, she went young and cheerful to Pforzheim to attend a goldsmith school and to study jewellery design. The years in Pforzheim not only taught her street credibility and a lot about questionable architecture of the postwar period, but she also learned technical skills with a growing passion for jewellery design. After beeing temporarly in Berlin and Italy, she lived in Ingolstadt, Bavaria where she founded her label. Meanwhile she is settled in Berlin. Her work is characterized by special crafting techniques, big expression and a pinch of humor. She recieves her inspiration from materials, body shapes and culture, which she turns into bold artistic pieces for people, stage, video, photography and installation.
