restagno design was launched in 2022 by lorenzo restagno. Following studies in contemporary classical music, philosophy and finance, lorenzo has found his fashion inspiration in natural structures of vegetation, a violent informal beauty that combines elements traditionally decorative with destructive, chaotic forces. His passion for natural textiles and sustainable fashion has brought him to be semi-finalist for the Redress Design Award 2022.

"The shape of my naked volume"

Restagno Design's womenswear AW23 evolves from the previous collection starting from its focus on intimacy: femininity is seen as a dimension of freedom that expresses its own shape and volume.
The woman finds in her body shape the essence of intimacy and plays with such shape transforming it and modelling it.
Fabrics are the mean of this exercise: often treated as mere surfaces of natural threads, presented in raw edges panels, they are the boundaries between outer world and this volumes of intimacy.
