Rehna Pendse, a New York based fashion designer takes you on a journey to a world of freedom where women dare to be strong and different. Her premier Fall-Holiday 2011 collection is inspired by her passion for design and experiences from her own life.
The new collection is made of 95% sustainable fabrics, including silks, cottons and wools. These illustrious garments consist of twenty-five new high-end modern looks; including cocktail dresses, blouses, skirts, pants and jackets. All designs are characterized by an exquisite attention to detail and use of rich luxurious fabrics that embody chic glamour and precise craftsmanship.
Rehna has taken an ethically conscious decision to work with responsible boutique manufacturers, who promote a female workforce; thus creating a balanced and fair work environment.
Bio:
Rehna's journey in fashion started by achieving a Bachelors from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. While at FIT, she worked with couture designer Joanna Mastroianni and cutting edge sportswear designer Diego Binetti. After working for several years for various fashion houses including Calvin Klein, she decided to launch her own label, REHNA PENDSE, NYC.
