THE DESIGNER

Spanish fashion designer Raquel-Helena Hernández Díaz is the founder and CEO of Raquel HH, the sexy, over the top, charming and glamourous clothing brand, that celebrates feminine luxury, fantasy and beauty. Each article has a unique and exclusive design with original drawings, signatured by Raquel.

Raquel was born in Madrid, and she has a Master's degree in Advertising and Public Relations by the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Yet she was always very passionate and enthusiastic about Fashion, so she decided also to study Fashion Design at the European Institute of Design. Educated in United Kingdom, United States and Germany, Raquel speaks fluently several languages and travels oftenly, searching for inspiration in cosmopolitan and international spheres.

Her career launched off when she was chosen among thousands of girls to participate on Cuatro's TV Show, Spain's Next Top Model (Supermodelo), broadcasted nationwide. Her exuberant personality and her charisma impressed the audience and she became a very well-known celebrity all over the country. This raising popularity helped her to get contracts as a model and as a TV host. Hard-working and tenacious, Raquel, is the living example of a successful self made woman that overcame all the obstacles in her way.

Always loyal to her personality, she decided to materialize her designs during her TV venture and presented them officially at Supermodelo's final gala, broadcasted on November 26th 2007.

Due to the enormous success of this Fashion presentation, a great number of persons have contacted Raquel, via email to get information about the selling points where they can purchase these fantastic T-shirts.

On the other side, Raquel’s designs were selected for the “Young Designers Contest” by the Young Spanish Designers Association (ANDE) in which prestigious designer, Elio Bernhayer, presides over the jury.

Since Raquel left the TV Show, she has worked as a TV host with Concha García Campoy in “Mornings at Cuatro” (Las Mañanas de Cuatro) and she has been interviewed by media phenomenon, Boris Izaguirre and Ana García Siñériz at “Channel nº4”. She has also participated at radio Huelva on “The other face of culture” (La otra cara de la cultura) and has shared her views of fashion, lifestyle and modeling.

Also she has done a lot of photo shoots and interviews for different magazines such as: Supertele, Teleindiscreta, TP, 40 Principales magazine, Vanidad, El Periódico Público, Overground, Apparently Property, Circuito Party, Belleza Pura, Semana.

She has attended to different social events such as Cibeles Fashion Week (Carlos Díez, María La Fuente, Guillermina Baeza), Vanidad’s 15th Anniversary, the presentation of “Una noche de Cuento”, sponsored by Campari and La Casita de Wendy, Diesel’s party, the premier of “La fábrica de la felicidad” sponsored by Coca-Cola and Ghd Fallen Angels show in which she accompanied, Manuel Batista, prestigious stylist and the discoverer of tops models such as Eugenia Silva or Nieves Álvarez.

She has worked with different professional photographers as: Emmanuel Rouzic, official photographer of Supermodelo, Lester Lee, chinese photographer and creator of the campaigns of Nike, Pantene Pro-V and Sony for China, Japan and Singapore. Hervás&Archer, who are the official photographers of Pikolinos campaigns and collaborators of magazines such as Overground and Sublime. Also, Jesús Antón, Matías Uris and Assad Awad, just to mention a few.
