Born 1991 in Damascus, also known as the City of Jasmine, before moving to Toronto, Canada.

After moving to Paris when she was 18, Rama Seifi graduated from the prestigious Parsons Paris. She trained under renowned names such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Phillip Lim, Defined Moment and a few other brands before deciding to launch her own label.

Feminine, dreamy, poetic, and contemporary style became her signature
after showcasing her collection in the annual Parsons Paris which stood out with a sense of texture and cut.

Rama Seifi is a luxury women's wear label, creating designs born from a compelling concept and story, inspired by the vast unknown of our universe. it is where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design. Rama is dedicated to create beautifully crafted pieces from the inside and out

Jasmine Spirit SS17

RAMA SEIFI'S Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Jasmine Spirit, emerged from the concept of the everlasting pristine of the jasmine flower. Time inevitably fleets by transforming day into night, and night into day; Still the jasmine remains unchanged and evergreen.

The jasmine flower is a symbol of the essence of the brand and it's designer's origins.

The collection palette is inspired from the colors of the sky, a representation of time change from dawn until dusk, with contrasting white as the jasmine itself. The diverse lines created throughout the collection with gathers, cuts, and bead clusters represent the intertwining and dangling jasmine vines.

Jasmine Spirit carries light and sheer fabrics including various pure Indian silks, cotton linen, embroidered tulle, leather, coated fabrics, and organic PVC adding a modernized edge. Details are all handmade including embroidery, beadings, and all-natural hand carved wood.
