Prululla

Maria Tokmakova is a fashion designer, founder of Prululla Ltd. Russian born, naturalized Italian, she is now based in the region of Umbria, Italy. Maria obtained a BA from London College of Fashion (University of the Arts London) and an MA from Goldsmiths University of London. Operating on a solid base of heterogenous research she conducts her practice with critical per- spective and experimental approach. Research, moodboards, technnal and hand drawing, materials manipulation are among the techniques she implements to develop her design ideas and translate them into reality. After gathering experiences in brands such as Guess, Proenza Schou- ler and Mary Katrantzou, she returned to Italy to launch Prululla in 2019. Timeless, trendless but with attention to detail and to the creative process.
