The collection takes inspiration from the passion for the land and their stones, with the will to reinterpretate the concept of nature in a new innovative way.
Marble is a natural element rich in history and culture, symbol of architecture and art, and it has been one of the main characters for the industrial evolution in Italy, inspiring the birth of a marble and stone districts where a large number of small and medium local businesses have always taken place. During the centuries it has strongly gained a keyrole enhancing the natural, architectural and industrial environments. Marble finds application in different fields: construction, art, design and fashion.
The international trend consists of the evolution of marble from cold element, heavy and immobile towards new concepts of lightness, fluidity and heat. This trend has affected different sectors of the design world, from furniture to jewelry. In fashion design, until now, marble is considered a source of aesthetic inspiration, thanks to its natural grain printed on textiles. The challenge has been connecting textile material and stone district, making the real marble wearable. Through technological innovation and constant research, has been patented Veromarmo, a wearable microfilm containing marble dust. The microfilm is windproof, waterproof, flame retardant and abrasion resistant.
The collection consists of six no-season models realized in Veromarmo, characterized by clean lines, craftsmanship and innovative materials, which express a strong attentionto both technical and stylistic details. The collection is enriched by two models of skirt in long and short variant, able to guarantee style and uniqueness.Innovative materials are blended with soft natural fabric to create unique and timeless garments: outside, Veromarmo guarantee high performance, meanwhile inside, cotton fabric create a natural comfort to the skin.
The passion for the land and nature is reflected into the desire to value the material through sustainable development, selecting raw materials in accordance with the environment. Thanks to constant research and the increasingly advanced technology, even waste marbles become raw materials. Colour palette is made by the marble chosen: dark grey from Marmo Nero Ebano, salmon from Rosso Verona, natural beige from Marmo Giallo Mori and black from the waste marble powder.
Each jacket is entirely Made in Italy and is an expression of passion for research and artisan know-how.
