NIENKE VAN DEE

Dutch Artist Nienke van Dee, born in 1990, studied for 3 years at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and graduated in Arnhem at ArtEZ Academy of the Arts in Product Design and also at Dutch Healthtec Academy with Shoe Craft and Design in Utrecht. Her work is characterized by minimalist constructions, female influences, unusual use of materials and an strong eye for detail.

Nienke´s designs find their origin in a fascination for excess in images and material. ‘The idea of shape as a tool for transformation is what drives me and new possibilities in materials inspire me.’
