About the Founder-
Delshia Antony Raj is a Textile designer hailing from Chennai, known for her unique and sustainable approach to design. A graduate of the esteemed National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delshia spent her college days experimenting with sustainable textiles, crafts, and natural dyes.

In her final design collection, Delshia sought to modernise the most commercialised textile - Kalamkari. This led to her being awarded the Best Graduation Project Award in 2020. Driven by her passion for textiles and crafts, she founded NAMBI-KAI, a conscious luxury brand committed to creating sustainable and modern textile solutions.

Her inspiring motto, "If not now? Then when?" serves as a reminder to seize the moment and make a positive impact in the world.

About the Brand-
NAMBI-KAI, a sustainable slow fashion brand based in Chennai, India. Our garments are made from handwoven fabrics and are dyed using natural dyes. The brand's Tamil name translates to the hope and trust we have for the future of handmade products. It also holds our love for hand-painted textiles and other sustainable crafts. We also give a new look to crafts and support local artisans and weavers to help them sustain the crafts and practices that have been there for generations.
