The difficulty in talking about oneself starts with the order of presentation.

My name is Martina Cambruzzi, I'm 25 years old and I'm a fashion designer graduated from Istituto Marangoni, Milan (IT).
But what sets us apart from titles if not our preferences.

The books, movies and music I consume can tell much more about MY PERSONALITY than my sign or my beliefs.
Revealing that I can't stand sugar in my coffee and i get anxious on sunny days might say more about me than a resume of six years of college and work.

i'm inspired by The way I perceive the world around me. mysticism, spirituality, the mysteries of the unconscious and the beauty of human anatomy, especially the female body, which I consider very poetic, mix with the strong influences of the punk and expressionist universes giving life my collections.

For me, fashion is not restricted to the final product, it is defined in the stages of development.
The creator's daily life and unconscious are part of the creative process.

Anxious, creative and a extremely perfectionist, I seek to build a genuine path in fashion, without following absolute trends much less massified standards.

The intention is to create opportunities for people to wear pieces that reveal their purest essence, leaving the common place and identifying with the brand's originality.
I create clothing that seeks to meet you, fashion that frees you from rules and stereotypes. it's strong, sophisticated and beautiful.
It's my desire to create clothes that communicate who I am.

MISPLACED

Inspiration is a funny thing. There are places in the world where it flows non-stop, everything around you becomes texture, shape, color palettes or cuts. In others, more infused into a routine where there is no room for anything new, becomes places where I can no longer let my mind create so freely.

When I am inserted in this type of environment, which does not feed my search for knowledge or creativity, inspiration comes from banal moments of my daily life. The feeling of disengagement along with a joke that compares my name to the planet Mars was the starting point for this collection.

In Latin, Martina can mean "little warrior" or "dedicated to the god Mars". In astrology, Mars is fundamentally about desire, energy and conquest. It represents a lot of who I am. As I always enjoyed this world of cosmic and alchemical elements, I decided that this would be my starting point. Not all inspiration needs to come from a serious reason or transforming moments.

Through MISPLACED, our always impeccable tailoring is subverted to jeans and technological fabrics in two predominant colors, black and peach that together represent the shade of Mars and also the lunar eclipse. The stoned denim, which is produced with 100% recycled cotton, gives the dyeing an old-fashioned look and is reminiscent of the dusty surfaces of the planets. Also, our silk denim is made with cocoons that are unsuitable for large industries and go through the artisanal process of vegetable dyeing with variations of shades in each piece, which make them unique. With more technological aspects, the chosen tulle is made of microfiber, has a pleasant touch and light compression, ensuring comfort and safety. The 100% cotton jersey from our t-shirts is long-lasting and sourced from responsible, certified cotton chains.

For the first time, we developed a print in partnership with the visual artist and longtime friend Sidar Cetinkaya. The half Russian half turkish artist masterfully shaped my feelings by creating a doll that is half alien.

The handmade embroideries are always highly anticipated and this time they are presented with beads and crystals imported from the Czech Republic. Inspired by the paths of the Milky Way, thin metal wires have been manually twisted one by one to give the 3D effect, which beautifully contours the body in a mixture of cosmic colors. Element that is also present in exclusive accessories.

Once again, I use my intuition to transcend and bring out the maximum representation of female power by offering a collection that is full of identity, and, at the same, time casual and elegant.
