MADAME HIBOU

My name is Margot Ferreria , I am a fashion designer and Biochemist .
I worked for 11 years in neurochemistry at the Institute for Biological Research Clemente Estable as a scientific researcher.
Since always I´ve adored fashion and started to study it as a hobby . I was selected participate into an international design competition in Spain and got the first prize. My collection was inspired by the morphology of mirror neurons . Upon returning from the contest I had to choose between my two passions, and the decision was for fashion ... I started working as director of a cultural design space sponsored by the Canary Islands Society ( Spain ) in Uruguay . I also developed my carreer as product design and development manager of of a leading brand in Uruguay dedicated to products for women in leather : shoes , handbags & accessories.
Recently I started my own brand named Madame Hibou, which is a conceputal fashion brand where the creative process and inspiration is from science. My brand is committed to the development of human knowledge and popularize science using the art of fashion as a creative way to introduce science into everyday´s people life. Madame Hibou through its graphics, packaging, USB memories and QRcode broadcasts its source of inspiration and scientific content
