I am Lola Poelio, a sustainable fashion designer and statement maker. Started drawing and making collages when I was 8, and I picked that back up when I was 20 after a long search for what I wanted to do in my life, it always came down to fashion design. But more than that, I’ve always wanted to be a sustainable fashion designer, or at least work witch innovative materials. With my laters collection i worked a lot with natural indigo on organic cotton and biodegradable glitter.

A collection about the contemporary confused man.

If a man is too manly it is frowned upon and if a man is too feminine he’s not considered attractive by most women.
Men have lost their power position due to feminism and are now looking for new solid ground.

The Rhinestone Cowboy back in the days thought he had it all figured out. As the perfect example of a masculine man, crazy with power and mad about himself, making sure his suit is always shiny and colourful.

We still have a few of those crazy men left in our world…

Although their re-apparition is now connotated with some irony. They playfully mess around with gender-codes, and add some feminine notes in their repertoire.
