KatiLin Stone is a fashion designer based in New York City. She was selected to study fashion design abroad in Florence, Italy at the Polimoda school. There she was mentored by the creative director of Salvatore Ferragamo, Massimiliano Giornetti. Recently, she graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Fashion Design with a specialization in Knitwear and a minor in Art History.

In addition to having had the opportunity to learn from Thom Browne, she has interned with Tommy Hilfiger, Ohne Titel and Nanette Lepore. Her skills include machine knitting, draping, pattern making (knits and wovens), fashion illustration, FLEX PLM, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office and Kaledo software. Designing adaptive clothing for women won her an award as a finalist by the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, judged by Andrew Bolton, the Head Curator of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. KatiLin hopes to design for an eco-conscious consumer as well as for people of all body types and color.
