In my research for the inspiration of the menswear collection I concentrated my attention on the aspect of the architecture. I became fascinated by one of the most uncompromising and experimental architect, who’s projects; freed from constraints of finance and buildability, are very often politically provocative. He’s interested in the problematic spaces, zones of crisis like Berlin Wall, Sarajevo, Havana, San Francisco, which have been destroyed by cataclysm like war, earthquake. His proposal aren’t a way of cleaning up the effects of damage, but are more about the transformation in the society, economics and the politics through architecture. Lebbeus Woods’s radical projects and sketches are my source of inspiration in cut and shape. Deconstruction, linearity, graphic, layerity, stratification and transformation into minimalism are the key points in developing my collection.
