who is a result of various cultures, but has strong roots on a small great country
called Costa Rica. That is why, when designing a new collection, I tent to
incorporate autochthonous social and environmental elements of Costa Rica, as
well as forms and symbolisms characteristic of other ethnic groups and regions.”

J.LANG represents the artistic expression of her founder, Jennifer Lang. Her
passion for details is reflected in every piece of her collection, carefully
handcrafted at our own workshop in Costa Rica.
We seek not only to support local artisans but to ensure that their products have
the ability to live through generations, combining excellent quality with
craftsmanship to create our exclusive designs.

Jean Clutch in black • Costa Rica Handmade

The inspiration goes back to the biblical story of Adam and Eve. We are not angels, but human beings of flesh and blood. The woman emerges from the same body of man, originating in one and the same being.

At that time there were no differences in skin colors, religions or nationalities. A whole humanity is detached from a single being. Je suis. I'm myself. The message is very important, fashion as protest, with ideology and content seeking a change, an improvement in society, generation of controversy and a driver of change.
The woman to whom it is addressed is an empowered woman, capable of facing any challenge that gets in her way. Man and woman with equal rights and opportunities in life.

Soft and lightweight handbags with details in gold zippers, are accompanied by elegant handbags with long metal chains. Also characteristic of this collection are the large bags, decorated with leather designs, made by the best Costa Rican craftsmen.

Although it was inspired by masculine silhouettes, it also explores the sensuality of women and their curved shapes. In that sense, we present both tailored suits as well as elegant body-worn dresses in corduroy and leather, as well as fine lace stand out. The color palette is very rich and deep: black, red, blue, yellow and gold.
The idea is that the garments can be used together or separately. Versatile designs and classic silhouettes that do not go out of style. Those garments in which we invest for its excellent cut and design, which we know will last forever in our wardrobe as a basic garment that performs in an endless number of possibilities.

As a novelty, in this collection we have incorporated pieces of jewelry in golden and black tones, which complement perfectly with the sophisticated and sensual style of the J.LANG designs.
