'mercury, Interrupted.' is an invocation of the fluid self as a ritualistic practise, focusing on the transitory nature of being. The liquid reflection of mercury, as its fluidity is considered in alchemy, is to serve as the groundwork for a process of individuation in my lifetime and the reflection upon mythical transmutation in esoteric queer identity and alchemical spirituality.
the language found is infused with connective symbolism and story-telling to speak on truths of the self, my understandings of trans identity - divinity and the alchemical hermaphrodite, my understandings of the anima mundi (the living soul of our world), as well as my spiritual and visual attachments.
