Hannah Price is a contemporary fashion and textile designer specialising in menswear, focusing on innovation through texture and surface design. Soon to graduate from Winchester School of Art, she has always been drawn to the tactile qualities of hand manipulated cloth, and utilises her strengths in pattern cutting by combining inventive textile techniques and experimentation with sportsluxe silhouettes and precision tailoring, creating bold and fashion forward designs. Confident with the use of colour, she is unafraid to experiment with the juxtaposition of contrasting colour palettes. She also has a keen interest in sustainability, and aims to incorporate sustainable practice into her own work through the materials she uses.

Hannah took her initial inspiration from old Arctic Explorers such as Shackleton, which subsequently led her onto researching into Arctic tribes, providing her a wealth of inspiration in the form of materials and oversized silhouettes. Despite looking at a range of different groups of indigenous people, Hannah specifically researched into the Native American Tlingit tribe of the Northwest region. Taking inspiration from this tribes’ artwork, sculpture work and traditional garb, Hannah has created a unique collection featuring bespoke hand-painted cork leather and print combined with interesting oversized silhouettes.
