GINLEE Studio was founded in 2011 by designers Gin Lee & Tamir Niv.

Coming together as designers from two different disciplines, design is, and always will be, at the core of what we do. In a world where garments are churned out rapidly, our laborious process is deemed as luxury in today’s pace of fast fashion. We take immense pride in creating beautiful, thoughtfully-designed pieces that are mainstays in ones’ wardrobe. Equipped with Fashion and Industrial design backgrounds, our passion extends towards 3d elements that not only flatter the female form, but make wearable pieces of art. Good design is both aesthetically-pleasing and functional, and we strive to achieve the perfect marriage between both.

Who we are

As global citizens, we are made up of many parts of the world. Between us, we have lived in several different countries and our life experiences shaped the way we are. But no matter how far we travel, Home is always where we go back to. And for us, that home is both Israel and Singapore. This cross-pollination of different cultures results in a style that is quintessentially unique to us.

What we make

We don’t design for the perfect body, we design for the real body. We believe that good design should be accessible to everyone and that’s why our clothes are made to flatter a myriad of sizes. The easy, day-to-night sensibility makes our garments practical for the everyday woman, the way it should be. Merging form and function, our signature pleats not only look good on the hanger, but drapes beautifully on the wearer, highlighting the impeccable craftsmanship. Most importantly, the GINLEE woman feels comfortable in her own skin wearing it which is why we put our garments through a little Dance Test before it goes out to the world.

The way we behave

Nothing is more important than the way a person feels in our clothes. We don’t believe in creating clothes that are restrictive, or overwhelms a person's sense of self. The understated charm of our clothes allows the wearer to celebrate her identity and being comfortable in all that she is. We are huge advocates for being true, being You and that to us, is a life well-lived.
