GEMMA DEGARA

The label Gemma Degara was born in 2003 in Barcelona.
She's characterized for working in versatile collections where functionality and comfort are the real protagonists.
Her cuts and shapes allow to interpret the same garment in different ways.
Garments, with lot of details and its own identity, complemented with prints

In 2003 she is awarded “Best Emergent Designer” in the 18th Edition of the ModaFAD awards with the collection “Raval History”.
With her 2004 fall/winter collection “Room 217” she takes part in the 2004 Barcelona Fashion Week.
She continues working for different companies until in 2006 she decides to focus on her own collections.
With six years as a professional fashion designer, Gemma Degara has taken part in the Ego de la Pasarela de Cibeles with her 2008 spring/summer collection “Entre sirenas y medusas” , 2009 fall/winter “Caída libre” collection and ss 09 bushido collection presented in rendez- vous paris
