Francesca Montaldi was born in Rome and started knitting before learning to read and write. Growing up she attended a tailoring school while was majoring in History of Applied Arts. Her inspiration has always been her need to grow a craft skill as a spiritual exercise. She always felt the need to express herself through a creative process, she started using the yarn to let emotions flow and eventually a new idea was born.
