D J DESIGN

Danielle Johnston is a luxury street wear designer living in London, where she was born. She graduated from Wiltshire College in Salisbury with a degree in Fashion and Textiles, awarded by Bath Spa University. She is highly competent in all aspects of the design process, from design development, to CAD design, to pattern cutting and production.

Her current collection is made entirely of leather, and exhibited on the catwalk at Graduate Fashion Week in June 2013. The collection also showcased at Fashion Fixation in Tower hill in June 2014. She has just finished interning for Omer Asim in Central London as a design assistant.

Danielle's inspiration is ultimately street wear and art. She is lucky to have the city of London as her influence, with all kinds of exhibitions and galleries on her door step. Her designs are technically challenging, with modern takes on classic shapes.
