Black envelops and swallows, is cave and abyss, the holes of space and the bowels of the earth.Black is foulness, decay and dirt. But the black dirt can be the soil itself, the fertile covering of the earth, from which life arises. You may see in black the sinister, but also, because it confers invisibility, black has the capacity to protect. Black comes from the north, the direction of danger, but also from the east, the place of sunrise.
