X-ray

X-ray

The idea was to reveal complexity behind plainness. I took a basic blazer as my inspiration and turned it into a real sized three-dimensional x-ray, showing all the hidden parts of it. The effect of an x-ray is created by layering sheer silk chiffon pieces on top of each other, partly attached but in principal hanging loose to keep the movement between the front and back piece. The cuts of garments are strict and classic, with a touch of masculinity, contrasting the fragility and chaotic appearance of the silk x-ray parts.
