Before writing, civilizations conveyed their rich history and culture through fiber arts skills such as weaving and knitting complex designs with string lines. Lines were used to describe time, shape, and connections, and Ecuadorian textiles bear the history of those who came before us even today. By this traditional style of art, I aim to connect the past and present, as well as contribute to the preservation of a resilient culture and history, paving the way for the inevitable future.
