our spring/summer 2019 collection FOUNDATION was inspired by recent travels to tanzania, south korea and upstate new york: the dusty colors of the earth on the serengeti, the monolithic concrete jungle of seoul, the vibrant blue of the hudson valley sky. while designing FOUNDATION, we recalled dirt roads through tanzanian plains, getting lost in the labyrinthine neighborhoods of a sprawling metropolis, the smell of nature
only a few miles north of new york city, the ephemeral sense of being a momentary inhabitant of an unfamiliar land.
