somewhere to disappear

somewhere to disappear

In a world where people are interconnected like never before and imagine themselves in a sense of secure belonging which is no longer felt in their own, private world, my work introduces fine contrasts.
The interaction of the finished materials and the sweet scent of lavender creates a cozy warmth and lets the wearer sink into a real, small microcosm of safe belonging. The sugar-sweet, tender and beguiling little world, however, is taken apart piece by piece. Contours melt away, change and deform.
