The speed with which we do things will change our experiences around those same things. The twenty-first century is too fast. I need a slower approach to the creative process, which will help me to find pleasure in what I do and give me the possibility to pay attention to all stages of design, from the choice of fabrics to the manufacturing of the clothes. I took inspiration from the inhabitants of a small village near Kyoto that live surrounded by nature, creating clothes with what they have: cotton, hemp, dyeing plants.
