Madonna was Inspired by the Fra angelico exhibit at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum specifically paintings of Virgin Mary that is why the collection is called Madonna. The color scheme of the paintings also inspired my color choices for this collection. The museum was the perfect backdrop for this collection but more so than a backdrop it was the inspiration for it.
