For my final degree collection I chose to look into a number of historical and contemporary costumes that interested me. I began by looking at the Russian dynasty, and the costume Imperial Russia, which greatly influenced my colour palette and fabric choices, and later developing these ideas by exploring the Russian revolution, traditional folk costume, and modern day contemporary culture gave my work an edge to the original regal influence.
