The industrial processings of steel plates using laser-cut or machine cut, arises unusual shapes that are the result of errors or scraps, becoming waste metal to recycle.
Mara Garbin retrieves these "rejected" shapes.
The "rescue" of elements of industrial waste are a common denominator that accompanies many of her collections. Through the recovery and the assembly of these fragments the abandoned material is so redeemed and designed for a new logic and new function.
