This collection is concerned in the dynamism that characterises the way different genders appropriate elements of each other’s style. Designs have emerged at the site where this dynamism is most pronounced and aims to isolate and elaborate from them within a series of experiments. By reinterpreting, collaging and deconstructing garments that historically aided in enacting prescribed standards of masculine and feminine dress in the past, more specifically the Menswear suit and Victorian corset, new edgy silhouettes, and formations of laced textiles have emerged.
