A graduate project, based on elements from the Mexican culture. My primary focus has been the Mexican festival Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead. I have in a process-oriented approach worked with textile interpretation based on my visual universe and the concept of ambiguity from references to the artist Frida Kahlo and the Mexican bullfighter.
To be true to my own aesthetic understanding and also avoid placing a direct translation of the project's starting point, I have interpreted the project in a Scandinavian context.
