The collection consists of three blocks representing three aspects in Freud’s structural model of the psyche. However, the focus is slightly different from the classic theory: in GUZUNDSTRAUS vision, ‘dem Es’ is playing its common role representing the instinctual aspect; ‘dem Ich’ is supposed to be controlled by an organised and rational essence; while ‘dem Über-Ich’ refuses its moralising role and goes for uncontrolled instincts and primal spontaneity with the whole power of a super-ego.
