“Folded Projection” is a collection that incorporates couture silhouettes into everyday fabric material. Denim is usually considered utility material in making workwear and casual wear. But the weight and stiffness give the magic of creating beautiful sculptural structures. While inspired by vintage and contemporary couture silhouettes, I use this accessible material to create elegance. By blending with streetwear elements, this collection raises a new identity for evening wear.
