i took inspiration from my grandfathers passing for this piece, him and my nanna used to collect tiny houses and i used them as visual inspiration and cut the panel ends into the shapes of these little houses. this garment is extremely meaningful too me and was made to bring light into a darker time in my life. through this project i realised a lot about myself as a designer. my grandfather was a teddy boy, which were loosely inspired by dandies, so i used the queer dandy style of oscar wilde as inspiration mixed with the collectable houses.
