João took his inspiration from the Post Apocalyptic World. That came from the movie Mad Max. So he started to make research around draping, and military details. That guided him to the Gurkhas (Nepalese Army) )and the traditional and colourful clothes of the Nepalese Community. Inspired him to look at different patterns, the used of laser cutting on the outfits, different materials, such as sequins, cotton, prints, burned effects on fabrics, and colourful catsuits to bring more life to the outfits. The bigs bags represent the Nepalese Community used to have to carry material and work.
