The project ‘Cluster’ is Regina Kim’s senior thesis for BFA. It started from ‘searching’ for record of past, especially from clothes. The trip to the Salvation Army, where people purchase donated goods was the starting point: A store where each piece of clothing has a different story of origin, behind the fabric you see on the exterior. It was a sensational stimulation for the designer who treasures the marks people make on the world.
