Hermione Flynn's Spring/Summer 2014 collection "Enclos(th)ed" is the first range the designer has created outside of her home country, New Zealand. Initially inspired by her travels through South-East Asia in early 2012, Flynn became pre-occupied with the notion of head-to-toe dressing adopted by the local women. Whether for religious or social purposes, a varying array of head scarves, face-masks hats and gloves were adorned, removing from sight any element of skin or hair. It is this notion of enclosing the body which is at the heart of the collection.
