The main inspiration of my collection and the name itself was the subcultural scene of the 70s-80s, especially the punk-rock subgenre of that time. First of all my works were influenced by the personality of ‘the godmother of punk’ Patti Smith. I tried to reflect on the dual nature of Patti’s persona - she’s a rock’n’roll star and a fragile, sensitive person at the same time. My aim was to express this duality in the language of textiles.
