Vestment's first collection focuses on one item: the robe. The goal: to create a robe that is not a towel-esque bathrobe, nor a silk smoking jacket. Vestment robes are comfortable enough to lounge in at home and wearable enough for a night out. Drawing inspiration from ecclesiastical robes and kimonos, Vestment derived an oversized, contemporary silhouette. Knit Jacquards and Ponte de Roma fabrics are used for their soft hand, clean face and contemporary feel. Black and white geometric patterns inspired by op-art and dazzle ships make each robe unique and striking.
