The AI 17/18 collection is inspired by Lynda Benglis, sculptor and visual artist, known for her works in wax and her latex sculptures. Benglis was initially criticized by many feminists of the time, while today it is re-evaluated by the no gender movement.
The new headgear want to recreate her sculptures, games of impossible twists and contortions of matter that seem to have no weight.

The turban is in its almost sculptural forms, but soft and harmonious due to the used yarn, lurex, cashmere or wool.
