Spending most of her 20’s abroad, Canadian born knitwear designer Carolyn Ferreira creates her debut collection representing the memories of places she has lived and travelled. ‘The Wanderer’ A/W19 explores human nature and represents the modern nomad who is unbound by distance. Topographic maps and arial views of the cities from space take form in abstract shapes and print design. Strong lines are reminiscent of winding roads driven along and remain a constant reminder and grounding connection to home.
