J.YAP is a textile and fashion designer based in Singapore by Yap Jia Lin. Her works are mostly inspired by the human body, natural textures and taboo subject matters.

For her final year graduation project, it revolves around the theme of empathy in design, and features 6 looks inspired by the stories of Breast Cancer survivors. The aspiring designer hopes to encourage open conversations about a topic less-spoken about in Asian culture and celebrate stories of strength, resilience and courage of these women who have bravely battled Breast Cancer.
