SS12 is a presentation of fabric in sculptural form. Cashmere jersey, pleated chiffon and coated linen are studied through various techniques to create a harmonious ensemble. Jersey is folded, knotted and draped - contouring the body and creating multi-textural fabric sculptures. Pleated chiffon, draped, cut, moulded and hand-sewn evokes greek statues. Rigid glazed linen provides a crisp edge, reminiscent of marble or granite.
