The collection was inspired by that sinking feeling we all suffer when depressed and the expression of "drowning in your own thoughts", which is something I repeated to myself when dealing with my own emotions. Depression is a resistance of the minds creativity and joy. The world is tinted blue and the light doesn't reach the bottom. Some days are the better than others, the shackles that hold you are not capable of killing you. You count every second that you hold your breath, but you keep going.
